Instructions for Posting a Response

  1. Review any of the essays of interest to you from the conference.
  2. Click “View PDF” to read the full essay.
  3. Enter your response in the comments section below. Please keep your responses to 1-2 paragraphs (450 words or less) to provide ample space for others to respond. If you would like to provide references to sources, please place in them in parentheses in Bluebook format). Internal references are not required and should be kept to a minimum. These reflections are intended to be personal and academic.
  4. Please end your comments provide your name, school affiliation, and email address. Your email address will only be used for Journal communication and will not be published with your remarks.
  5. If you would like to respond to someone else’s comments about an essay, please begin your comments with the @ symbol and the person’s name (e.g. @KendallThomas: ). The Journal’s Online and Consulting Editor will edit and review the comments twice a month. The editing will focus on the mechanics and citations rather than the substance of your comments. If there are major concerns about the language or substance of your comments, the Journal will email you to request changes before uploading. The Journal intends this space to support respectful dialogue and reserves the sole right and discretion not to upload your comments should they be likely to harm that environment or offend the readership.
